General advice

Heart attacks can affect anyone of any age so keeping an emergency contact number and the location off the nearest defibrillator could be life-saving.

We also suggest that all elderly people, especially those living alone, keep the contact number of a relative or friend under a magnet on the fridge door and clearly visible to emergency teams.
